Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage government contracts, ensuring successful execution and alignment with client objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, government contracting, and compliance with federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of assigned government contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government clients and teaming partners, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, federal regulations, and company policies.
- Develop, manage, and track program budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain contract performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, prime contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor performance metrics and generate reports for senior leadership, prime contractors and government clients.
- Lead and mentor program staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support business development efforts, including identification and capture of new opportunities, proposal development, and contract renewals.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, law enforcement, or a related field
- Ten (10) years of experience in program management, preferably within a government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other government contracting rules and regulations.
- Experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, and diverse teams.
- Proven ability to work with government clients and agencies effectively.
- Proven record to work effectively with prime contractors and subcontractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred.
- Active Top Secret clearance required (or ability to obtain one).
