Recreation Aide Qualifications & Responsibilities :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
- Must be energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player
- Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed
- Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed
- Maintain and manage act iv it y attendance calendars
- Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility
- Computer k nowledge
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Act iv it ies and Administrator
