Key Responsibilities
Manage Leave Programs – Oversee and administer FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, workers' compensation, personal leave, and other job-protected leaves.
Ensure Compliance – Stay up to date with federal, state, and company policies regarding employee leave.
Employee Support – Serve as the primary point of contact for facility HR Directors and assist employees throughout the leave process.
Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records, review medical certifications, and generate reports on leave trends.
Collaboration – Work closely with HR, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure smooth leave administration.
Training & Education – Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding leave policies and procedures.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience managing leave of absence programs, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and other leave-related laws.
Experience in HR, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage complex leave cases and support a large employee base.
