Customer Operations Specialist - Denver, CO
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
Compliance Solutions, the nation’s largest privately held provider of E-Learning, Virtual Education, and Instructor-Led Classes for Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) training, is seeking an enthusiastic, intelligent Customer Operations Specialist to join our team.
The Customer Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to clients and prospects, responding to inquiries, and resolving complex customer needs in a professional and timely manner. This is not a low-level call-center role. This role works closely with other departments to ensure an excellent customer experience throughout every interaction with Compliance Solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills with a background that displays a proven ability to multitask and prioritize while dealing with a high volume of work. This person should be detailed oriented and able to function independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a high performer with impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve when facing complex customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and efficient manner, and help customers purchase the right services to meet their needs
- Place outbound calls to customers to confirm or cancel training classes and to verify customer information
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Verbal, email, and customer support chat communication with current and prospective customers
- Continually learn about the Environmental Health and Safety courses and products Compliance Solutions offers
- Generating and referring sales leads to our sales department
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in CRM
- Data entry and processing
- Onboard and support new e-learning customers and provide low level technical support
- Manage and update department process documents
- Other administrative duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 1-3 year's experience working in customer service or customer facing role solving complex customer issues and requests
- Demonstrated previous experience using Sales / Customer Support ERP or CRM (ex: NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize customer needs and tasks with a high volume of work
- Detail oriented
- Creative problem solver, solutions oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- HS Diploma or GED required. 2 or 4 year College Degree preferred
- Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
