Job Summary :
The Quality Control Engineer will research, test, and evaluate the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes, while also developing quality standards. The role requires expertise in interpreting blueprints and evaluating product integrity to ensure adherence to high-quality standards. This position demands a solid understanding of engineering principles, quality control procedures, and testing methodologies.
Core Responsibilities :
- Develops sampling procedures and designs, creates forms, and provides instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data
- Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment
- May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities
- Specializes in areas of quality control engineering, including design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application
- Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability
