Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in respiratory care, be proficient in operating various respiratory equipment, and possess strong communication and patient education skills. The Respiratory Therapist will work with patients of all age groups, perform a variety of respiratory tests, and provide critical care support.Essential Job Functions : Operate and manage various respiratory equipment, ensuring proper use and patient safety.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive respiratory care.Provide care to patients of all age groups, adapting to their unique needs.Educate patients and families about respiratory diseases, treatment plans, and medication management.Perform diagnostic tests such as Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Stress Tests, and EKGs to evaluate patient conditions.Minimum Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred.Licenses & Certifications : Must be a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist with a current license to practice.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are preferred.Certification : Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
