Position: IT Systems Analyst
Location: Spartanburg, SC (Hybrid)
Rate: $34 per hour
Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
Overview
The IT Systems Analyst will collaborate with business units to analyze operations, identify issues, and develop IT solutions to enhance processes and achieve strategic goals. This role includes system configuration, project leadership, and ensuring technical solutions align with business needs.
Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Partner with business units to assess current operations and define input/output requirements.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for existing processes and support the transition to optimized workflows.
- Recommend and implement process changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
System Design & Configuration
- Evaluate system capabilities and differentiate between configuration and programming solutions.
- Write detailed functional specifications and perform system configurations.
- Coordinate interface design and development with internal and external stakeholders.
Project Leadership
- Manage small-to-medium IT projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Prepare project plans, administer change control processes, and ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate communication between business teams and developers to align technical solutions with requirements.
Documentation & Support
- Develop process documentation, test plans, technical reports, and implementation strategies.
- Provide on-call support and training to ensure system reliability.
Business Collaboration
- Analyze business operations to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT development.
- Maintain knowledge of IT trends and recommend best practices for process optimization.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or 4 years of equivalent IT experience.
Experience
- 3 years in IT governance and system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- 3 years in IT solution design, testing, and analysis.
- 3 years in project leadership or system responsibility.
- 3 years working in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of databases, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
Preferred Training
- Training in systems specific to the role’s responsibilities.
- Project Management training.
