Job Title: Systems Analyst

Job at a Glance:

• Schedule: Alternating schedule: one week in office, one week remote; start time between 7am–9am with a typical end time around 5pm
•  

Responsibilities:

• Work independently on the most complex projects at the highest technical level, across all phases of applications systems analysis.
• Define system scope and objectives based on user needs.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, factoring in computer capacity, operating time, and desired results.
• Collaborate with multiple business units in multi-platform environments and on multiple project assignments.
• Guide and advise less experienced Systems Analysts.
• Monitor project progress and outcomes.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
• Provide subject matter authority and command in assigned areas.
• Identify and implement improved work alternatives and business processes.
• Offer assistance, advice, and solutions to peers, customers, and co-workers.
• May contribute to setting objectives, policy decisions, identifying critical issues, and introducing new concepts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, including:
• Implementing vendor software solutions
• Systems integration and interface testing
• Developing system specifications and interacting with clients for requirements
• Strong Business Systems Analyst background, including:
• Gathering and documenting business requirements
• Leading meetings with business stakeholders
• Writing clear and detailed requirements
• Skilled in working with third-party vendors to improve business processes
• Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
• Background as a consultant with software development and project management skills
• Ability to read and understand architecture diagrams, code, and scripts
• Proficiency with Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
