CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Customer Service Coordinator I .

Type : Contract

Job Title : Customer Service Coordinator I

Location : Corning, NY

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Corning, NY

Pay Rate : Based on experience

Work Hours : M-F 7 : 30AM-4 : 30PM

Education : 2-year degree REQUIRED, business-related fields preferred

Description :

The Customer Service Coordinator I will serve as the first point of contact for internal customers, providing outstanding customer service and support in a fast-paced environment. This role is key in managing communication between internal customers and various departments within the division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing conference room reservations and work orders, coordinating customer events, and ensuring all customer needs are met efficiently. The position requires effective time management and attention to detail in data entry tasks.

Responsibilities include :

  • Serve as the liaison between internal customers and division partners
  • Handle inbound calls and assist internal customers with their needs
  • Enter reservations into conference room scheduling software
  • Input work orders into the facility management system
  • Coordinate and assist with department events and activities
  • Manage data entry and ensure accuracy across systems
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
  • Requirements : Education Required :

  • 2-year degree REQUIRED, business-related fields preferred
  • Qualifications :

  • Punctuality and strong work ethic
  • Excellent customer service skills, including active listening
  • Excellent phone skills with clear enunciation
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong data entry and typing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Calendaring and scheduling experience
  • Desired Skills :

  • Call center experience
  • Quick learner with high energy
  • Experience with room scheduling software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Additional Information :
