Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to operate, program, and maintain robotic welding systems, ensuring high-quality welds and efficient production.
Responsibilities:
· Operation & Programming:
· Operate robotic welding systems to weld metal parts according to specifications.
· Program robotic welding systems, including developing and modifying welding parameters and sequences.
· Troubleshoot and resolve robotic welding system issues.
· Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and other specifications.
· Load and unload parts and fixtures, ensuring proper setup for welding.
· Quality Control:
· Perform visual inspections of welds to ensure quality and conformance to standards.
· Identify and address any welding defects or issues.
· Maintain accurate records of welding operations and quality control data.
· Maintenance & Safety:
· Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding equipment.
· Follow all safety procedures and regulations related to welding and robotics.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Other Duties:
· Assist with other welding-related tasks as needed.
· Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
· Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Proven experience as welder/operating robotic welding systems.
· Experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, FCAW).
· Skills & Abilities:
· Strong understanding of welding principles and practices.
· Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting robotic welding systems.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and move parts and equipment up to 75 lbs.
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
