Pitchfork seeks an Editorial Fellow to join us for six months. This is a full-time, temporary position best suited to someone with some background in journalism and a deep love of music who is interested in learning the ropes of working at a digital publication. Responsibilities:
- Assisting with research and fact-checking
- Assisting with web production
- Assisting with art and photo research
- Contributing to additional editorial projects as needed
- One year of experience in journalism preferred (professional, student publication, personal blog, or freelance writing) preferred
- Research and fact-checking abilities beyond a basic Google/Wikipedia search
- Experience learning a new CMS is a plus
- Ability to work out of our New York City office
- Ability to work both independently and alongside a team
- Strong familiarity with Pitchfork
- Highly organized
