Company Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Human Resources Operations Director to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of HR functions, including benefits, performance management, payroll, HR systems, and leave management. This position works closely with the VP of HR to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The Director will also drive process improvements, enhance system capabilities, and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead HR teams in benefits administration, workers' compensation, leave management, payroll, HR systems, and analytics.
• Oversee the Dayforce (Ceridian) HRIS system, ensuring smooth operations and continuous optimization.
• Manage HR system budgets, evaluating and implementing new software tools or vendor partnerships to improve HR service delivery.
• Supervise self-funded benefit programs (health, wellness, 401(k), workers’ compensation), including cost management, reporting, and analytics.
• Conduct regular functional benchmarking and manage vendor relationships to maintain high service standards.
• Own HR compliance, audits, and reporting (including 5500 filings, internal/external audits, SOX compliance).
• Oversee the company’s total rewards programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with employee needs.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to drive greater HR efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing HRIS systems, benefits, and compensation solutions.
• Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Strong ability to lead change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaboration and team development skills, with a focus on driving results.
• In-depth knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in self-funded benefit programs and cost management strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce HRIS, with experience in system integration and module implementation.
