Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage vendor accounts in compliance with company policies.
- Accurately review, verify, and process vendor invoices.
- Calculate and apply discounts as applicable.
- Process invoices for timely payment.
- Verify financial data to ensure accurate accounts payable records.
- Clarify and resolve any discrepancies in invoices or pricing.
- Perform reconciliations of statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Provide clerical support to meet organizational needs.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- 3 years of accounting experience is preferred
- Experience in an industrial area is a plus
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Experience working with a high volume of invoices
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
