Daily Workflow:
» Oversee and execute landscape construction projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
» Read and interpret blueprints to guide installation of irrigation, drainage, planting, and hardscaping.
» Operate heavy machinery, trailers, and large trucks safely and effectively.
» Install and maintain pavers, retaining walls, lighting, and water features.
» Supervise and coordinate crew members, providing direction and ensuring productivity.
» Communicate with employees and onsite contacts to manage project timelines and expectations.
» Ensure proper plant identification, placement, and pruning techniques.
» Monitor site grading and drainage solutions to prevent water issues.
» Maintain safety standards and enforce best practices on the job site.
» Perform plant identification, pruning, irrigation, grading, drainage, planting, pavers, retaining walls, lighting, and water feature installations
» Ensure proper irrigation system setup and functionality.
We’re Seeking (skills, education, and screenings):
» Must have 10 years Landscape Installation experience and experience running landscape equipment.
» The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential landscape construction, plant identification, pruning, irrigation, grading, drainage, planting, pavers, retaining walls, lighting, water features & operation of heavy machinery, trailers and large trucks.
» Have proficiency to decipher blue prints, manage, communicate effectively with both employees and onsite contacts is a must.
» Must be physically fit with the ability to maneuver up to 50 pounds.
» Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
» Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and pass a DMV check
» Able to pass Drug Screen (THC ok)
Schedule:
» Monday – Thursday 7 am - 5:30 pm
» Exact schedule to be arranged with employer
