The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of their regional markets, including the direction of sales activities, leading daily operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Regional Manager provides leadership and direction to ensure that branch goals are met in the areas of client satisfaction, retention, profitability, adherence to policy, and financial objectives. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience under the direction of the Vice President of Maintenance Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Growth and development of the assigned market.
- Define, develop, and execute a three-year growth plan for each branch location and any future regional acquisitions, satellite locations, or branch opening goals.
- Lead business development efforts, with the support of current and future business developers.
- Identify, target, and develop relationships with commercial landscape maintenance clients to promote company recognition throughout the region.
- Utilize expertise and relationships in the market to maximize the potential of sales opportunities across the region.
- Work with branch teams to establish long-term client relationships with clients and with vendors throughout the region to maximize service delivery and purchasing opportunities.
- Work with branch teams on operational efficiencies and synergy opportunities.
- Establish best practices, policies, and procedures throughout the region.
- Support Branch Managers on daily operational decisions to maximize gross and net profit returns.
- Represent the company along with the Business Development team at trade shows, association meetings, and other functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Compliance:
- Ensures compliance with all applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory training classes.
- Ensures direct reports have completed mandatory training classes.
Required/Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of landscaping or related industry experience, including at least five years of progressive leadership experience.
- Must have a current state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- An equivalent combination of related training and experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 5 years prior Branch Management experience preferred.
- 5 years of landscape management and operations experience required.
- Prior business and sales development experience preferred.
