Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources is a strategic partner responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, including payroll systems and talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and OSHA standards.
  • Manage HRIS systems and analyze data to drive process improvements.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related issues and strategic planning.

Must have the following skills including, but not limited to:

  • good communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people concisely, politely, and clearly;
  • the ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, and electronically; the ability to use all technologies associated with the position;
  • the ability to understand issues very quickly;

  • the physical and cognitive ability to perform work on computers and on phone calls; the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time in front of a computer within an office environment;
  • numerical proficiency;
  • regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience in human resources, including employee relations experience; team leadership experience;
  • B.A. in human resources, psychology, or similar degree preferred;
  • The employee must be at least 18 years of age and must be a citizen of and/or authorized to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
