You’ll become part of our family business while being led by a highly experienced Accounting Director who can help you master the intricacies of property management accounting.
Key Functions
- Lead the AP team and assist with effectively processing invoices during peak times as well as troubleshoot billing issues and escalations in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Build good working relationships with Property Managers and get needed answers/information from them to process invoices in a timely fashion.
- Guide, support, and coach AP team to continually improve performance, gain knowledge, reduce errors, and address any questions or bottlenecks that arise.
- Monitor association budgets and cashflow and keep property managers informed of any budget concerns.
- Assist with proper configuration and setup of association specific vendors, payment preferences, and accounts.
Requirements
- Prefer Associate’s degree in accounting with solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
- Experience with high volume Accounts Payable with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skilled with research, problem solving, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills.
- Experience in HOA or Property Management industry a plus.
