General Operations Manager – HVAC Service
Position Overview : Local company is looking for a dynamic and visionary General Operations Manager to oversee and lead our $20 million HVAC service operations in Atlanta. As the cornerstone of our management team, you’ll be responsible for steering operational excellence, optimizing team performance, and driving growth while managing a team of over 50 professionals. Your leadership will set the tone for a high-performing, collaborative environment, ensuring efficiency and profitability at every level.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Leadership & Strategy
Inspire and guide a team of over 50 HVAC service professionals
Design and implement strategies that drive operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and fuel revenue growth.
2) Operational Excellence
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to best practices, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Optimize processes, from resource allocation and inventory management to service delivery, to ensure maximum productivity and service quality.
Drive initiatives that reduce costs and increase revenue, all while maintaining a high standard of service.
4) Team Development
Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring efforts to build a motivated, skilled workforce.
Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence in customer service.
5) Customer Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, promptly addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute strategies to improve customer retention and attract new business.
6) Growth Initiatives
Identify and lead business development opportunities, including expanding service offerings and exploring new markets.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align operational capabilities with broader business goals.
Qualifications :
Proven leadership experience, ideally within the HVAC or service-based industries.
