We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Property Manager to support the operations of multiple residential communities. This part-time position (with potential for full-time for the right candidate) involves leasing support, maintenance coordination, financial administration, compliance oversight, and tenant relations. The Junior Property Manager reports directly to the Director of Property Management and works closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and professional living experience for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Leasing Agent with leasing activities, including marketing, managing waitlists, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins and renewals
- Coordinate maintenance work orders, vendor scheduling, and property inspections to ensure timely and high-quality service
- Handle day-to-day financial tasks such as processing invoices, tracking rent payments, managing delinquencies, and preparing basic reports
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and housing regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA standards
- Respond to tenant inquiries, resolve concerns, send notices, and support a welcoming and responsive community environment
- Maintain organized records and support daily administrative and operational tasks across multiple properties
Qualifications
Required:
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic financial and administrative experience, with knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage)
- Experience in affordable housing; COS/TCS/EIV certifications are a plus
Work Environment

- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed
