Job Overview: The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of production employees in a manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring that production processes are efficient, meet quality standards, and align with company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of manufacturing personnel. Foster a positive team environment and manage employee performance through feedback and development.
Production Management: Plan, prioritize, and manage production schedules and workflow to meet production targets. Ensure that resources are used efficiently, and that the production schedule is adhered to.
Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards by regularly inspecting processes, materials, and final products. Implement and uphold quality control procedures and address any quality issues that arise.
Safety Management: Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed and maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and trainings to prevent workplace injuries.
Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication between teams, and coordinate with different departments (e.g., logistics, supply chain, quality control) to achieve operational goals.
