Qualifications - Warranty Administrator
- Minimum Two Years of Chrysler Dodge RAM Warranty Experience
- CDK Experience preferred
- Subaru Warranty Experience a plus
- Team Player
Responsibilities - Warranty Administrator
- Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise.
- Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
- Processes all transportation damage claims
- Verifies criteria required by the factory.
- Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
- Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
- Makes warranty corrections as needed prior to submittal
- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims.
- Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
- Occasionally audits scanning to ensure completeness and compliance (Digital Imaging)
- Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
- Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controller.
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
- May be requested to book RO’s with proper labor ops and tech flagging.
- Fully reviews the RO to maximize every warranty claim
- Fully reviews all RO’s to maximize straight/diag time
- Expected to have 3 days or less claim submission.
- Expected to maintain a high level of claims paid first submission
- Performs other duties as assigned.
