The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is growing and has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is an exciting role with high visibility and access to senior leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and reporting Corporate SG&A expenses for diverse functions including Sales, Marketing, R&D, IT, HR, Legal, Accounting / Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality, as well as Capex spend for the entire company. This is a full-time hybrid role, and reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary business partner for SG&A corporate executives and their staff; and drives the annual budget and monthly forecasts for these departments
- Monthly close activities including analysis of spending trends and patterns, variance analysis and preparation of accruals / reclass entries
- Monthly performance reporting of actual results vs. established objectives along with presentation of insightful business commentary
- Create, maintain and enhance financial models for Finance team and executives
- Work with Fixed Assets team, Project Managers and Site Controllership to ensure capex and depreciation accurately tracked and planned for
- Maintain the Company's Capex approval model and policies / procedures for Capex requests; be able to communicate changes globally
