What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Production Manager position at Connecticut Appliance & Fireplace Distributors?
Connecticut Appliance and Fireplace Distributors is looking for an experienced Licensed Production Manager to oversee the hearth install and service teams, as well as warehouse operations. You will ultimately be responsible for the smooth running of each production team and how they interact with each other, as well as how they interact with our Sales and Business offices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 10-14 employees.
- Oversee the production process and ensure that production targets are met.
- Develop and implement production schedules and procedures.
- Monitor and improve productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with other managers to drive operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Must have one of the following licenses: S1, S3, S7, S9, B1, D1, G1, or HPG-1
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or Service Technician looking to advance.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and tools.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and hand/power tools.
- Management experience in Construction (Carpentry/HVAC) preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am- 4:00pm
Pay:
$60,000.00-$93,000.00 D.O.E. and licensure
