Job Summary
DescriptionIf you are selected as a Crude Analyst you will be able to work independently, take initiative in quickly and accurately resolving reconciliation issues. Candidate should have attention to detail and deadlines, be sensitive to demands of monthly closing schedule, have strong analytical and accounting skills, positive attitude, experience with Right Angle or ability to quickly master new systems, experience with Microsoft products, commitment to being a team player and stepping up when others need assistance, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to analyze processes and procedures to come up with better and more efficient methods of completing work requirements.
Job Description
Your responsibilities may include:
- Position within group – in charge of actualization of scheduled Crude deals associated with equity Crude purchases and Crude sales including verification of volume and prices with internal/external counterparts
- Settlements corresponding to Crude purchases, Crude sales, Crude tariff costs
- Management of crude inventory levels throughout the month including pipeline gain/loss calculations
- Book monthly purchase, sales, and tariff accruals in Right Angle to ensure accurate earnings reflection
- Work with traders, schedulers, and F&PA Analyst to ensure resolution of accounting issues.
- Reconciliation of volumetric differences by location; including working with internal and external counterparts to resolve outstanding issues
- Present the monthly accrual to actual margin analysis
- Perform any adhoc requests as needed
Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, related business discipline, or foreign equivalent
- 1 years of experience in an accounting / finance function
