The QC Technician’s role is to perform a variety of quality control tests on products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications and identifying defects.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Reading blueprints/technical drawings and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.

· Analyzes data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.

· Recommend modifications to existing, or suggest new standards, methods and procedures.

· Inspection of the materials produced or purchased.

· Using tools such as micrometers and other calibrated tools to measure products.

· Removing products that do not meet specifications.

· Acceptance or rejection of finished products.

· Performs inspections to assess product quality.

· Scans/Uploads documents accordingly.

· Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of calibrated test tools/equipment.

· Proficiency with measurements and technical drawings.

· Record keeping/computer skills.

· Detail oriented.

· Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills.

· 1-2 years of experience required.

• The noise level in the work environment is moderate manufacturing noise. Hearing requirements include the ability to hear and respond to instructions, communicate effectively in loud areas.

• Occasionally work in spaces with noise up to 100 dB (with company-provided ear protection).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• May be exposed to dust or other irritants and electrical/mechanical/power equipment/heat hazards.
• Possible travel, working around others, and with others.
