Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our residential properties. Your primary focus will be on ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and assisting with leasing activities. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations and property maintenance.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information and property-related documents.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants and retain current ones.
- Ensure compliance with Section 8 regulations and other legal requirements related to property management.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for facility management tasks.
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and reporting.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices is a plus.
- Strong sales skills to effectively market properties and engage potential tenants.
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property leasing is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using property management software.
