Role Overview
The Logistics Strategy Manager is responsible for setting and managing logistics strategy and budget for North America. This includes optimizing operations, overseeing 3PL partnerships, managing contracts, and ensuring cost efficiency. The role requires collaboration across multiple teams to enhance logistics performance, reduce costs, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Strategy & Budgeting: Develop and manage logistics budgets, track expenses, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- 3PL Management: Oversee 3PL contracts, negotiate pricing, ensure SLA adherence, and manage network adjustments.
- Optimization & Efficiency: Identify and implement logistics improvements, including transportation consolidation and distributor strategies.
- Process Improvement: Lead logistics-related projects, enhance reporting capabilities, and support CO2 reduction initiatives.
- North America Expansion: Develop logistics strategies for future growth in Canada and Mexico.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in logistics strategy and 3PL management.
- Background in supply chain logistics within the CPG industry.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Business acumen in setting and maintaining logistics budgets.
- Project management experience with a focus on process optimization.
