What are the responsibilities and job description for the AS - BACKUP Youth Respite Provider Needed position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient individual willing to provide backup respite for a child who has higher behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with these challenges, be able to maintain firm boundaries while offering a safe and structured environment, and have the high energy to engage in fun activities together (He really enjoys fishing and parallel play). Strong communication skills and the ability to manage physical and verbal aggression with calmness and consistency are essential. Pay: $14.13/Hour (After Tax Rate)
Location: Black River Falls, WI - In the community or your home
Schedule: Flexible shifts - 5 hours/week available - TBD between family & provider
- Weekends preferred (every other)
- Weekdays after 3:30pm-5:00pm (No WED)

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Must be comfortable driving in different weather conditions
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
