Are you looking to work with a local kiddo to provide Respite Care??
Looking for someone to spend time with a sweet little boy, either in his home, yours, or in the community. This young man is on the Autism spectrum and can be very sensitive to loud noises. 1:1 would likely work best for him as he does not always like to have direct play with other children and struggles with loud sounds/noises. He can be very shy at first, but once he gets comfortable with you, he will be very chatty and affectionate. He absolutely LOVES imaginative play and would love it if you would engage in this with him. Someone kind, playful, and reliable, who is willing to be flexible with their schedule would work best for this young man.
Schedule: Flexible shifts, 3 hours/week available, Sunday's work best

- Animals (Loves dogs)
- Being Outside
- Imaginative Play (Engage with him!)
- Pool (Does not like lakes – wants to see the bottom)
- Klinger’s Market
- RESPITE MAY TAKE PLACE IN YOUR HOME/THE CHILD'S HOME/THE COMMUNITY - TBD LATER
Pay: $14.13/hour (after tax rate)
Requirements*:
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
