What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable/Office Admin/Accounts Payable position at Container Salvage Company Inc?
Container Salvage Company is a North Charleston, SC based company that provides a broad range of services to many commercial industries. We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper to perform a variety of functions including, but not limited to, accounts receivable, collections, and general ledger management.
Requirements:
·Must be willing to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (exact schedule to be determined at time of offer)
·Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
·Must be able to work under pressure and under deadline pressure.
·Must have the ability to learn new software systems quickly
·Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
·Must have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
·Must have strong accounting skills and experience with general ledger functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, and bank deposits.
·The ideal candidate will have experience performing accounts receivable functions and working with customers on project coordination tasks.
