GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Operations Coordinator will assist in administrative and operational duties for the events team at Hollywood Park or as assigned for Contemporary Services Corporation in the Los Angeles office. While primarily located in the office at Hollywood Park during business hours, this position will also require assistance and travel to various work sites as they assist in the scheduling, logistics, and various administrative duties in the field. The Operations Coordinator will report to the Senior Event Managers and Director of Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of events that have taken place on the Hollywood Park Campus.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative and event operations.
- Logistics: Assist with the physical setup/breakdown of equipment, distributing uniforms, radios, event day paperwork, and other equipment as needed
- Fulfill administrative duties such as data entry, correspondence, facilitating meetings, procurement and care of operational supplies, general communication with staff, and other office and event responsibilities, as necessary.
- Assist in the workforce management of CSC Event Staff, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, scheduling, database management and on-site supervision.
- Interacts with employees and clients in a professional manner.
- Perform various other duties as may be assigned by any of the CSC Managers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree; with 2-3 years of experience in the administrative field, preferably in the crowd management business.
