**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Material Industrialization Engineer to join our team at Continental.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and experience in the industrialization of technical products.
You will be responsible for material industrialization of alternative materials and new production technologies for Conveying Solutions.
This role requires close cooperation with central departments and external partners to ensure successful implementation of new raw materials and production technologies.
As a Material Industrialization Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation and sustainability in the industry.
You will facilitate know-how gathering, filing and preservation for future use and support investment process.
You will also communicate and execute the CT IAM PD MatPE strategy into the organization.
**Responsibilities and Tasks:**
- Manage, review and steer Material Industrialization projects according.
- Work with Material Team for industrialization and cooperation with central departments and external partners for implementation of new raw materials and production technologies.
- Support PUR and SCM on technical discussions regarding alternate raw materials.
- Foster material savings, phase-out of hazardous materials, cost improvement projects and activities according to product requirements and customer focus.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
- Bachelors in Chemical Engineer in Engineering.
- 2 years experience with Conveying Solutions products and application fields.
- Experience in the industrialization of technical products.
- Technical knowledge of materials (chemicals, compounds, textile cord, textile fabric, steel cord).
- Ability to travel 10% annually.
- Ability to understand, read, and write in English.
