What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst - Commercial Real Estate position at Continuum Analytics?
Continuum is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to assist in gathering market data, conducting financial analysis, creating internal and lender reporting, and various cost savings initiatives. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for commercial real estate, a tech-savvy mindset, and a desire to gain experience across all property types (retail, office, industrial, multifamily, etc.) and investment types (debt, equity, development).
This role is full-time, in-office in Newport Beach, CA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market & Investment Research : Conduct and compile market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks by utilizing a variety of data sources (sale comps, lease comps, demographics, etc)
- Organizing & Tracking Property Data : Maintain comprehensive property databases to track important property-level information, including lease dates, rent rolls, tenant data, financials, and market conditions.
- Reporting : Assist in the preparation of quarterly investor updates / reporting and preparation of loan packages. Maintain debt compliance reports and loan covenant tracking.
- Due Diligence & Document Review : Assist in the due diligence process by reviewing property documents, including leases, loan agreements, and operating statements. Assist in property tasks (property tax, insurance, CAM reconciliations, budgeting, etc).
- Financial Modeling & Analysis : Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate current and future investment opportunities (acquisitions, dispositions, and development).
