Quality Support Assistant
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Travel: 25% or less
Position Status: Hourly $24 per hour
Scope of Service: The Quality Support Assistant (QSA) works under direction of the Quality Director to complete timely and accurate tasks ensuring compliance with contractual, licensing, and Agency standards. Key functions include: Medicaid billing audits, conducting chart and quality reviews, medication certification proctoring, data input, and completing medical records requests. The QSA supports with training during orientation, monitors Agency records, monitors the client’s electronic record input, development and organization of program forms, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and proficient use of electronic record systems are essential for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible to provide day-to-day support to the Quality Improvement Department.
- Completes chart and quality reviews to ensure compliance with benchmark standards.
- Completes monthly billing audits for data accuracy.
- Assists with proctoring med tests.
- Accurate and timely data uploads with state and other identified systems.
- Exports data to create specific reports as needed.
- Maintain and monitor compliance records for consistent reporting.
- Maintain and update accurate documents and forms on department drives.
- Upload quality and records review results accurately into assigned documents.
- Assists with department reviews as needed.
- Assists with maintaining records room.
- Manages and maintains department spreadsheets, as assigned
- Provides training and education, as identified.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Is a Team Player
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Demonstrated knowledge of EHR (Therap) systems preferred
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required

Pay: $24.00 per hour
