POSITION SUMMARY:
Global Atlantic seeks a proactive, efficient, and resourceful individual to join the firm’s Recruiting team. This person will play a key role in our overall recruiting process as part of an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging team. Recruiting coordinators collaborate with the firm’s recruiters and business stakeholders to drive the hiring process forward while ensuring a seamless all-around recruiting experience, both internally and externally. They play an active role in all aspects of the recruitment process, from scheduling and monitoring a high volume of candidate interviews to helping facilitate an offer acceptance. Recruiting Coordinators also develop and implement process improvements, maintain clean data and documentation in systems and partner with recruiters and colleagues from our Human Capital team on ad hoc recruiting projects. Our team is all-hands-on-deck, and coordinators often participate in various events, help use data to inform future recruiting decisions, and contribute to the firm’s diversity initiatives
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with scheduling, interview coordination, conference room booking, and candidate expenses.
- Promote a friendly and positive candidate experience throughout the interview process:
- Develop and coordinate timely interview schedules for candidates and managing any schedule changes accordingly.
- Provide an itinerary to candidates outlining their onsite and/or Zoom interview schedule.
- Coordinate Zoom interviews when necessary, with candidates, talent acquisition partners, and hiring teams.
- Correspond with candidates and clients throughout the process by email, phone, and in person.
- Assist with updating candidate information in Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Follow up with interviewers and candidates post-interview and compile feedback.
- Assist with conducting reference checks and initiate background checks as needed.
- Partner closely with Human Capital and Technology to ensure a successful onboarding process.
- Assist with ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a role involving multitasking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred, as is impressive attention to detail and exceptional follow-through skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with members of multiple business units.
- Prior exposure to Greenhouse or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS) strongly preferred
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Outlook and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, while taking a proactive approach and maintaining a strong attentional to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop relationships with employees at different levels, work with various departments, and foster teamwork
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
