Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries.
• Prepare, analyze, and evaluate financial statements and internal controls.
• Develop realistic time budgets and coordinate audit requests to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor audit staff, providing training, constructive feedback, and performance evaluations to support their professional development.
• Ensure that audit engagements comply with the firm’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry practices.
• Foster strong client relationships through positive and proactive communication.
• Regularly update the Partner on project progress and address any client concerns.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Professional, driven, and self-motivated with a passion for continuous growth.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management abilities and the capacity to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: CPA certification or actively pursuing it.
• Preferred: Experience with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite: AdvanceFlow.
