Overview
Responsible for revising, creating, checking, filling and maintaining CAD based documents in both electronic and hardcopy versions. Supports all departments of the company by providing geometric or pictorial solutions to a myraid of problems. Utilizes CAD software, computer programs, analog and digital measuring devices, hand tools and inspection equipment.
Responsibilities
- File management, check out/check in, copying, distributing, filing away, preparing multi-media visual aids.
- Revising existing CAD documents.
- Creating/re-creating CAD documents and project specific work.
- Meeting with project leaders, customers, and/or employees and responding to inquires.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED or Associates degree in related field.
• Demostrated competence with 3D CAD software through college coursework or previous work experience.
• Knowledge of 3D design paradgms such as surface molding and top down design.
• Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Blueprint and engineering Drawing literacy.
• Able to work idependently, strong communcation skills with people of all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate
• Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment
• Minimal lifting with minimal exertion throughout the workday
• Excellent communication skills with customers and office personnel are necessary
• Accurate math skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are imperative
