Position Title: Manual Quality Assurance Analyst
Client Location: St Paul, MN (On-site)
Client : Department of Human Services (DHS)
Description :
Perform all IT Quality Assurance activities for the IT portfolio of projects.
Work on multiple Data and Reporting projects.
Assist Business Analyst, to refine the requirements and review the project documents and provide review comments for the BRD/FSD.
Perform Data testing, validate the data load from Blue compass DB (Third party vendor) to MNIT and vice versa.
Perform data migration and data integration testing from Files/DB/Datawarehouse to DB (Oracle/Teradata/MySQL/Azure Databricks/..) and vice versa.
Utilize QM/CCM Tool to write and execute test cases and for defect management systems. Create defect status reports in QM.
Lead/work in Data migration project, work on QA estimates, review requirements and BRD/FSD documents and give review comments using RM Tool.
Write simple/medium/complex SQL Queries to validate the data/business logic as per the requirements and test the DB objects in the database and validate the BOBI(Business objects Business Intelligence) /Crystal/Tableau Reports by writing SQL Queries.
Prepare Test plan and Test case documents using CLM/CCM/QM/RTC Tools.
Execute all test cases according to the Test Plan, preparing defect reports, conducting Defect triage meetings with the project team.
Guiding and Helping the team for Data Migration and Integration Testing.
Give suggestion for performance improvements and optimization of SQL and Structure/Design implementations
Participate in design review and decision making meetings and provided inputs on design improvements
Escalate any challenges to the appropriate resources in a timely manner.
Responsible for QA deliverables and complete required testing documentation (Test plan, Test closure, Defect Reports...) in an accurate and timely manner.
Receive appropriate approval and sign-off for all testing documentation.
Transfer knowledge to other resources.
