Standard work schedule: Monday-Friday
Hourly Pay: $16-$17.00 DOE
Who We Need
The Office Assistant will play a key role in supporting administrative functions and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Conducts daily responsibilities under the supervision of the Office Manager. The Office Assistant must possess the ability to function efficiently in group settings, providing administrative support to clinical staff and collaborating with various levels of leadership and disciplines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below
- Requires a HS Diploma/GED.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in an office Clerical setting, preferred.
- Medical and/or Behavioral health experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.
- Pre-Employment drug screening required.
JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
- Schedule member's appointments accordingly.
- Collects and validates insurance information and updates electronic health records.
- Records no-show and appointment changes.
- Creates and maintains member charts.
- Compiles clinical information as requested.
- Collects, monitors, scans, and enters data/information into the electronic health records or as assigned.
- As receptionist greets callers and guests, receives, and escorts participants to appointments as needed.
- Handles matters as directed.
- Maintains communications with the staff.
- Maintains cooperative and effective workplace relationships and adheres to the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- Maintains client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA requirements at all times.
- Adherence to all agency policies, licensure, and training requirements.
- To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
