Copeland, a standalone company with 100 years in the HVACR industry, is looking for someone to join our global Talent Acquisition team and lead our recruiting efforts for our Early Career Programs. You will lead the end-to-end recruiting for our Early Career Rotational Development Program (“Accelerate”), Internship Program and apprenticeship program. This work will include creating proactive sourcing strategies, understanding key markets & developing university partnerships to deploy recruiting approaches that build your network & the Copeland brand through engaging with top diverse early career talent. You will partner with hiring teams & global TA team members to understand their talent needs and provide consultation. Your efforts will enable us to best position our roles to net top talent meet the organizations growing and evolving needs and fuel our early talent pipelines. This role will be part of a global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence team. The ideal location for this role will be based out of St. Louis, MO.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Early Career:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to market and advertise our job opportunities effectively, as well as source, identify, screen, interview, hire and onboard top talent to fill all early career program roles for our US and Canada locations. You will partner with TA team members outside of the US to execute similar recruiting work.
- Create, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with key university representatives, trade schools and professional organizations to increase Copeland brand awareness, engage with students and bolster our talent pipelines
- Establish, implement and drive diversity attraction strategy within these programs, including partnership and engagement approach
- Manage all aspects of the campus recruitment outreach efforts, including event coordination, communication strategy, logistics, budget-management and follow-up related activities. This also includes designing early career interviewer training, including content creation and facilitation
- Plan, execute and participate in campus recruiting activities outside of career fairs, including networking events, campus presentations, coffee talks, “day in the life” series and social medica campaigns
- Measure effectiveness, generate reports and create data driven insights to show progress, opportunity areas and successes
- Conduct market research to ensure our programs are competitive and bring innovative ideas forward on how we can continuously improve
- Actively partner with hiring managers and HR team members to understand recruitment needs so we can proactively fill current and upcoming early career workforce needs
- Be an expert in the utilization of early career specific recruiting tools such as Handshake and Yello. Be proficient in the usage of our HRIS (Workday) LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing or recruiting tools
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in early career recruiting
- Experience developing and leading university partnerships, including driving increased engagement
- Proven collaborative team player who operates with a sense of urgency, and can prioritize effectively, multi-task, and identify and develop process improvements and deliver results
- Experience performing pipeline or high-volume recruiting
- Must be detail-oriented with project and time management skills with a proven track record of meeting set deadlines to provide employee/management customer service
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States, unrestricted for an unlimited period of time - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
- Experience driving brand representation and marketing efforts to early career talent
- Experience using an ATS, Yello, Handshake, MS Office, and social media
