Job Summary

Embark on an exciting journey with us as a full-time Reservations and Revenue Manager at CoralTree Residences Vail. Join our larger revenue team and be part of the CoralTree Residence Collection, a renowned choice for managing premium residential resorts and boutique hotels. Our small team is defined by individuals with a genuine purpose, pride, and a strong sense of place.

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the Vail collection’s reservations team and work closely with the Revenue Analyst and Area Director of Revenue Management to ensure the company meets its revenue goals. This individual will be vital in developing revenue strategies, managing the reservations team, and will also be capable of taking reservations phone calls.

This position can be full remote, or can be based in the Vail office. This role provides leadership support to the reservations team and the Revenue Analyst, and reports to the Area Director of Revenue Management.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the areas of pricing, distribution, revenue optimization, e-marketing, reservation sales, analysis, evaluation, and resources necessary to achieve the organization’s top-line revenue objectives.
  • Support resort's yield efforts as directed by Revenue leaders, including updating rates and length of stay restrictions in RMS, PMS and OTAs
  • Build new reports, as needed, to assist in preparation for the revenue management meetings or data analysis
  • Maintain accurate inventory, including OOO rooms, updates to rolling inventory, changes to inventory, build of new inventory, and auditing inventory across multiple systems
  • Support Revenue leaders through set-up of reports and systems in their preparation of short-term and long-term forecasts
  • Monitor property rate and availability parity via Metasearch channels and OTA shopping reports
  • Build and manage rate plans, maintaining accurate rate and demand information in various systems
  • Work jointly with the property ROC team to analyze findings of weekly metrics to implement a results-driven action plan.
  • Work closely with the Area Director of Revenue Management to develop and execute a strategic pricing plan for all room categories and properties.
  • Understand the competitive market and comp sets and their relevance based on current and future market conditions and industry changes and fluctuations.
  • Utilize transient KPI reports to identify trends and future revenue opportunities.
  • Manage oversite of Group Block Management process, facilitating Group Pick-up Meetings
  • Monitor and analyze the competition daily and weekly through DestiMetrics to identify selling strategies and market trends; alert Revenue leaders to emerging trends
  • Manage and maintain content and positioning accuracy and relevancy on distribution channels
  • Support daily reservation agent development by helping monitor, evaluate and coach reservation calls. Follow up with reinforcement of sales techniques.
  • Monitor the reservation staff via our NAVIS Revinate tool to ensure all agents are complying to CTRC standards.
  • Daily audit previous days non-bookings and help team to overcome any barriers to optimize revenue.
  • Take reservations calls, as needed, and make reservations in an efficient and customer focused manner.
  • Assist our reservation agents in problem resolution with guests. Ensure corrective action is taken to exceed guest expectations.
  • Monitor and respond to guest emails in an appropriate manner. Manage the internal guest waitlist.
  • Communicate and complete accurate reservations statistical reporting.
  • Monitor NAVIS Revinate system to ensure service levels and abandonment ratios are at standard.
  • In conjunction with the Area Director of Revenue, develop and promote the monthly reservation incentives. Incentives will be based on areas where performance improvement and/or sales goals are needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of all details for reservation entered into Revinate, Reserve, and Springer Miller System through audits.
  • Interface with Accounting as needed on billing and commission issues.

Qualifications

Preferred and Required Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years of prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven analytical and conceptual skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional partnering skills
  • Ability to simplify complex data into metrics and recommendations that are easily understood and actionable
  • Prefer strong working knowledge of Springer Miller Property Management, Hyatt Reserve and Envision Group System

Compensation and Benefits 

Pay range $68,000 - $75,000 annual base salary, plus an annual incentive plan.
