What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Operations Specialist position at Corcept Therapeutics?
As Corcept evolves in both size and complexity, it is time for us to strengthen, simplify, and build a foundation for HR Operations that will enable continued innovation. The HR Operations Specialist will play an integral role in supporting our people and business effectively as we grow.
This is a hybrid role typically requiring on-site presence 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, records management, job & compensation changes and offboarding
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for increased efficiency and improved employee experience
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by maintaining up-to-date employee records and assisting with audits
- Monitor and update HRIS, including inputting and approving employee changes (hires, terminations, promotions, etc.)
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, system navigation and procedures
- Proactively coordinate reporting, recordkeeping and auditing between the Benefits Department, and internal and external contacts (Finance, Payroll, and health and insurance carriers as appropriate)
- Administer new enrollments, terminations, and other changes for all benefits plans in the HRIS and vendor portals
- Support the Benefits Department with annual open enrollment, ACA reporting, carrier renewals and other projects

- Take initiative and ownership of responsibilities and resolve issues proactively with limited supervision
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an HR related field or equivalent
- Experience in a technology role supporting Human Resources in a global company
- Experience as HRIS administrator, preferably Dayforce or an equivalent system such as Workday, UKG, or ADP
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $81,600 - $95,900; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
