Corewell Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for their Sub Acute Rehab unit, which provides compassionate care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. About the Unit
We have two floors and 164 beds. Our nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and population you will be serving. We have a long-term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer.
Scope of Work
Registered Nurse (RN)
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Career Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN)
Required
- Associates in Nursing
- Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years
- State of MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing program
