About the Unit
We are located on 2 floors with 164 beds, providing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and population being served. It has a long-term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer.

Scope of Work
Registered Nurse (RN)
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associates in Nursing
- Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years
- State of MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing program
Preferred:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Healthcare experience
- State of MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
