We are looking for an Accounting Assistant who will be in a key accounting position that reports directly to the Controller and has their primary focus on daily, weekly and monthly accounting related transactions.

- Perform all parts of the Accounts Payable function including setting up new vendors, coding invoices and data entry of vendor invoices, and processing of vendor payments.
- Process Subcontractor Payroll which requires data entry and processing payments weekly.
- Will be required to enter and pay monthly corporate credit card transactions using SAP Concur data.
- Must be willing to assist with Accounts Receivable and other accounting related tasks as needed.
- Strong computer skills are required, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must be results oriented, dependable, deadline driven, have great attention to detail with an ability to multi-task, work efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a minimum of 1-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Construction Industry experience a plus.
- Having a Texas Notary License is a plus.
- Advanced Computer Skills including Excel, Word and Outlook required.
- Viewpoint Spectrum Experience or similar ERP software experience needed.
- NetSuite experience is a plus.
- SAP Concur experience is a plus.
