What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Sales Manager- Food Industry position at TGG Accounting?
My food distribution client is looking to bring on an Assistant Sales Manager position to help increase revenue and generate new sales leads!
Day-to-days duties:
- Generate new leads/ close new leads
- Visit customer and potential customer sites to educate and sell company products
- Help assist in training the sales team
Responsibilities:
- Meet the monthly and annual sales quota as designated by the manager
- Organize workflow and ensure that the sales team understand their duties
and delegated tasks - Assist the Branch Manager in leading, supporting and motivating the sales
team to achieve the overall corporate sales objectives - Ensure the sales team completes payment collection and data entry in a
timely manner while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree and above preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required. 5 years of relevant experience
preferred
