As a member of the HR team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, recruitment, supporting employee relations, project management, providing guidance on Human Resources policies and procedures and functional expertise. The HR Generalist is also expected to champion the company culture and lead the organization to being an employer of choice.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to manage and support our human resources practices and processes. As a member of the HR team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, recruitment, supporting employee relations, project management, providing guidance on Human Resources policies and procedures and functional expertise. The HR Generalist is also expected to champion the company culture and lead the organization to being an employer of choice.
Schedule: Onsite Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support, serve as initial point of contact for HR related questions.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
- Manage the administration of workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting and coordination with insurance carriers.
- Collaborate with other departments when necessary to ensure smooth HR processes.
- Partner with the Leave of Absence Administrator, North America to track employee leaves, process necessary documentation, ensure timely communication with employees and managers supporting compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure HR processes comply with all federal, CA state, and local employment laws. Conduct audits of HR records to ensure data integrity and completeness of records.
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and team member retention.
- Assist with employee relations issues and performance management. Advise clients on HR best practices to maintain positive employee engagement.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.

Experience You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or 5 years in similar HR role.
- Strong experience in recruitment or in a HR support role.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal, CA state, and local labor laws.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Demonstrated experience with human resources metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams.
- Familiarity with HRIS, Workday preferred, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) software.
- Experience with structured deadlines and calendar management.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
