Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary Strategic Technical Marketing Head to lead our technical marketing strategy in the Americas and support global initiatives. This individual will be responsible for bridging the gap between advanced engineering capabilities and market needs, driving product positioning, ecosystem engagement, and customer insights. The role plays a critical part in shaping product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and long-term brand positioning, with a strong focus on the U.S. and European markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technical marketing plans aligned with global business objectives
- Lead competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and technology shifts
- Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for customers and partners
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, and Sales to influence product strategy and commercialization
- Engage directly with key customers, industry analysts, and ecosystem partners to drive thought leadership
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and consortiums to promote technology leadership
- Create and refine technical marketing collateral including whitepapers, presentations, application notes, and product briefs
- Support global CMO with strategic planning, business development input, and market intelligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, or related technical field; MBA is a plus
- 10 years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or business development within the semiconductor, MEMS, or sensor industry
- Deep understanding of MEMS microphone technology, signal processing, and system-level integration
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, sales, and marketing teams
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Strong strategic thinking, market sensing, and storytelling capabilities
- Based in San Jose, with occasional international travel required
