Essential Functions
Project Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized. They communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board with any changes to the project plan. In addition, they organize reporting, plan meetings, and provide updates to the project team.
- Assist Project Managers and overall team to construction project completion through communication with internal and external client contacts.
- Process proposals, contracts, PO’s, CO’s, RFP’s, RFI’s, submittals and punch lists.
- Record maintenance and project close-out.
- Assist with reconciliation of project accounting.
- Knowledge of Viewpoint Vista
Qualifications
The Project Coordinator will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry or an equivalent position, an associate degree in construction management is preferred but not required. They must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and can perform mathematical equations. The candidate must be able to read and interpret documents such as owner and sub-contracts, certificates of insurance, procedure manuals, and governmental regulations.
