REAL ESTATE ASSET MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
The Real Estate Asset Manager is responsible for the supervision of the operation of multiple properties. The Manager will be tasked with conducting risk analyses, preparing financial reports, reviewing policies and developing strategies to maximize the asset’s potential. This requires successful communication with existing and potential clients, the supervision of multiple sites and diverse personnel, fiscal oversight including income maximization, preparing and executing plans and budgets and operation of properties to meet our goals. The position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and occupancy of a large number of commercial properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below.
· Manage all aspects of assigned properties
· Schedule and oversee contract vendors
· Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
· Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
· Oversee properties personnel and assess its performance
· Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
· Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
· Address tenants concerns or issues in a timely manner
· Prepare and manage budgets
· Collect rent, and handle late payments when necessary
· Maintain records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.
· Visit sites on a regular basis
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3-5 years in commercial property management or a similar role
· Understanding property management and its financial aspects
· In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
· Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
· Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Organized with excellent time management skills
· Ability to multitask efficiently
· Customer service oriented
